WHO WE ARE

The Online College is a private business incorporated in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.  Our offices are located in the city of Saskatoon.

The President of the corporation, Dennis Muso, comes to this new venture with over 15 years’ experience as a career college owner/operator and over 30 years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur.  Mr. Muso has worked tirelessly throughout his business career looking for ways to cut expenses while maintaining product and service excellence.

The Principal of the college, Marie Kent, brings with her 25 years of experience teaching and managing in the secondary and post-secondary systems in Saskatchewan.  Throughout her career in education, Ms. Kent has been active in industry professional associations and government advisory committees always searching for better ways to deliver college services to a vast and varied student population.

We have staffed our institution with top-quality faculty who bring with them experience, subject-matter expertise, and outstanding customer service.  With everything we have going for us, we know our new venture will be a success.

If you’ve ever wanted to explore a new interest or need new skills to advance your career, an online course or diploma program from The Online College may be just what you’ve been looking for. With thousands of options to choose from you can try courses in GED, Typing, Accounting, Business Skills, Computers, Customer Service Training, Defensive Driving, Digital Photography, and Sales Training – just to name a few. Looking for something really different?  Check out two new online diploma programs – Video Game Design and Forensic Computer Examiner.

Our full- and part-time career diplomas are specially designed to teach you the skills you’ll need to jump right into the workplace after graduation. We offer many exciting, programs including career diplomas in Business Management, Graphic Design, Medical Transcription, Paralegal, Web Design, Pharmacy Technician, and Massage Therapy  And for your convenience all of our programs start year-round.

Whether you’re looking to get your high school diploma, improve your English language skills, or start on a whole new career path, we have the courses you’re looking for and dedicated faculty who will help you succeed in reaching your goals. If you’re not sure what your goals are, we’ll help you figure that out too.  Through our full-service online campus, we offer interest and aptitude testing, live career counselling services, and links to oodles of online resources to help you chart your course.

Because we appreciate the value of interactivity in learning, we have designed our online campus to both encourage and facilitate discussion.  Through our study halls, student lounge, live chat, and email systems, our students and faculty can stay connected and feel a real online sense of community.

To balance the campus experience, we offer a games room filled with popular online games, a library stocked with references and how-to guides, and we have a music store and concert hall under development.
